HISTORY
Mt. Bethel Missionary Baptist Church has a long and meaningful heritage as a faith community in Jacksonville, rooted in serving God and the local neighborhood through worship, fellowship, and outreach. The church was established by members dedicated to worship and mission, growing from humble beginnings in a small gathering place to becoming a vibrant and welcoming congregation. Over the years, Mt. Bethel has remained committed to nurturing spiritual growth, fostering community connections, and sharing the love of Christ with all who come through its doors. Today, it continues to be a place where generations gather to praise God, support one another, and impact the wider Jacksonville community with faith in action.
